Fred Thompson, with the UCCS Admissions Office, chaired the committee to establish this Recognition Day Ceremony. Fred is a veteran of the War in Southeast Asia and served with the Air Commandos at Nakhon Phanom Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand, and flew some missions over the Ho Chi Minh Trail as a flare kicker on C-123s in 1966-1967. We're proud to have Fred as an active member of the Thailand-Laos-Cambodia Brotherhood and we appreciate his efforts in bringing this project to fruition. Great job, Fred.
