Khe Sanh Siege of 1968

Part of the runway and perimeter of Khe Sanh during the 77-day siege in early 1968. The remains of the USAF C-123 are one of several aircraft shot down supporting the Marines during the siege.

I believe these two pictures were taken by TLCB Brother, Earl Litz, who was assigned as a combat photographer to US Navy Squadron VO-67 at NKP.  He took pictures from the OP-2Es of VO-67 and from O-2s of the 23rd TASS.
