Machine Shop on the Trail

The North Vietnamese worked under extremely difficult to keep traffic flowing on the Trail for more than a decade.  In the early years they seemed to salvage everything possible, as the hulks of many trucks killed at night had disappeared by daylight. Trucks such as this one likely helped get a number of trucks on the road again.
